Every week Denholme Arts highlights one of its members and encourages people to check 'em out and delve into their work.
* Steve Swis *
"Photography is fascinating and enthralling, but it's the world that's beautiful and I just try to click and capture something worthwhile."

" I like shooting nature, wildlife and landscapes both urban and natural. I also do portraiture, these can be studio or location based, from straight forward head shots to fashion/urban portrature, these are proving fun but are also challenging and helping develop my skills as a photographer at the same time. I like to use natural light and shoot on location if possible as I find studio shoots can seem very sterile.
Comercial and corporate photography is another side of what I do, clients include the NHS, Tattoo Extreme magazine, Norgren Ltd and Fish'n'Tips.
I am now trying different photographic disciplines, like gig photography, glamour/fashion/nudes amongst other things to get a feel for all the different types and styles. Which will help me develop my skills.
As my confidence and my abilities grow, I am trying a few new ways of doing things. They might work they might not. But I will now try when before, I would not have even considered this /that/whatever a possible shot.
I currently have work on show at Dysons Chambers in Leeds, as part of the 21st C Leeds exhibition.
I have exhibited work at Denholme Mechanics Institute,Bradford Playhouse, Leeds City Art gallery and Bradford Town Hall.
I am expanding and developing my Tattoo and piercing portfolio, so I am always on the look out for tattooed and pierced people who want to have their body modifications photographed.
I am finding I am spending a lot of time trawling flickr and looking at some amazing work. There are so many talented people on flickr."
Week 8 * Neil Fitzgerlad *
"I guess I have nothing more to add!"
Week 7 * Pink Cappachino *
"Always viewing life with a smile on her face - a fact that shows through with her photos. She sees the the fun parts of the world that most of us usually fail to notice."
Week 6 Chairman 8
"The Chairman 8 is genuinely nice chap with a keen interest for the local history and beauty in the village of Queensbury. I like the way he records the village with his photography and his macro flower and plants pictures. He has a great wickedly dry sense of humour. Any man who keeps all those pets and rescues Guinea Pigs can't be bad;-)" Ratte Salat
